Neptec designs, develops and builds space qualified hardware and software systems. Our major customers are NASA and the Canadian Space Agency. Our latest space venture places us as the team lead in the development of an all-Canadian Lunar Rover.
This position reports into our Space Explorations Group and will support systems integration with our team partners of the hardware vehicle design of a Lunar Rover for the Canadian Space Program.
Position Description:
Contribute to Neptec’s robotics and rover development program as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Support systems integration of the hardware vehicle design of a Lunar Rover
Education and Experience:
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design
Minimum of 5 years experience
Skills:
Solid experience in vehicle design and/or test
Experience can be with all terrain vehicles, commercial or military vehicles or ideally space vehicles
Interest in space and willingness to show heightened creatively to broaden your design skills
Excellent team skills with top notch oral and written communication
Any previous experience in designs for space will be of value
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000
