Neptec UK is pleased to announce that we are the winners of a UK Space Agency contract for  “Space IR Camera Modeling and Thermography”.  In summary, the purpose is to develop a model of space thermal imagers enabling accurate sensor simulation and calibration for space flight rendezvous. We believe that our IR camera technology has a great future in space exploration because of its relatively small mass, volume and power. This contract will enable Neptec to gain more knowledge about the performance of IR cameras.

We are teamed with Southampton University which is located on the south coast of England. They are a major research university in the UK and they  will be bringing their extensive knowledge of thermal modeling and the use of their testing facilities at the University.
